Kiehl’s Avocado Eye Cream

Let’s not kid ourselves, those under eye bags aren’t “charming,” they’re a bloody nightmare. I’ve been slapping on the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado like it’s my last hope.
Been using it to dodge the “you look knackered” comments, and I’m here to dish the dirt.

What’s the Fuss About?

This isn’t some flimsy cream that vanishes in two seconds. It’s thick, green, and packed with avocado oil, sounds like a smoothie, but it’s a godsend for dry, puffy eyes. The 14ml tub’s tiny, fits in my overstuffed makeup bag, and a dab sorts me out for the day. Been smoothing it on after late nights (cheers, Netflix), and it’s like a mini spa for my eye bags—, ess sag, more “I’ve slept eight hours” vibes.

Eye Cream Myths: Busted or Not?

Everyone’s got an opinion on eye creams, so I’ve been faffing about to see what’s b*llocks and what’s legit with this Kiehl’s one:

“It’s Just Overpriced Moisturiser”: Nah, mate, this hydrates like a beast. My regular face cream doesn’t touch the puffiness like this does.

“You Can’t Wear It Under Makeup”: Rubbish. Tap it on light, let it sink (two mins), and my concealer glides over, no creasing, no drama.

“It Fixes Wrinkles Overnight”: Don’t be daft, it’s not Botox. But after a week, fine lines look less “hello, I’m 40.” Softens, doesn’t erase.

Does It Cut It?

I whacked this on after a grim night, dark circles like I’d lost a fight, and it perked me up sharpish. Not a full cover up job, but the puff’s down and my eyes don’t scream “help.”

Kisses, Nicola xxx
