Having a toner in your skincare routine is more beneficial than most people realise. They are used directly after cleansing and therefore remove any dirt, oil or residue left behind after cleansing  leaving your skin fresh and ready for the rest of your skincare regime. Toners also have skincare benefits each are usually designed to have certain benefits and Pixi toners have become my favourite ever because of this. Pixi have created toners for almost any skin concern you could think of already injecting vital ingredients into your skin before you have even started with your serums and moisturisers. Pixi toners are also so very gentle that they can be used daily and you can even mix the up so you use one in your AM routine and one in your PM routine.

Heres a round up of my favourite tried and tested Pixi Toners. All are applied to the skin after cleansing using a cotton pad. No rinsing necessary.

Glow Tonic – The most cult of them all this toner is made up of 5% gycolic acid and designed to exfoliate away dead skin cells to leave a brighter, glowy more youthful skin appearance. This was the first toner I was ever introduced to and one of very few products I always keep in my routine. It works!

Vitamin C Tonic – A brightening toner to bring dull tired skin back to life. Ingredients Vitamin C and Ferulic acid work together to promote collagen production and boost luminosity. Not only does this toner boost skins brightness, it also helps protect the skin from external aggressors as Vitamin c is a powerful antioxidant. This toner also contains ingredients Willow bark and fruit extracts which gently exfoliate away dead and dull skin cells leaving the skin radiant.

Milky Tonic – This is so so gentle and so so soothing. I especially love to use this one in the summer months, but it is just as amazing in the winter when our skin is exposed to the cold drying elements and also central heating. Milky tonic is a hydrating toner made with Jojoba milk and oat. It has a beautiful fruity scent and instantly cools, soothes and hydrates the skin. Like a real comfort blanket. I feel soothed just writing about it.

Retinol Tonic – So you know I said how Glow tonic is a cult product. This basically means its most peoples favourite, but between you and me Retinol Tonic is my favourite. Shhhhh!!! We can’t tell Glow she will be upset. Retinol can sound scary to some, I promise though Pixis Retinol tonic is so gentle and soothing. It causes no irritation. Its designed to smooth the skins surface leaving it even and I like to use this one as part of my PM routine. It has a time release retinol that replenishes the skin with powerful antioxidants throughout the day to protect the skins barrier for aggressors. With the added jasmine scent its so calming to the senses too.

Collagen Tonic – Volumising toner containing collagen and peptides designed to pump your face up like a feather pillow. Minimising fine lines and wrinkles and giving a more youthful appearance. This toner is also infused with coconut oil to also hydrate.
