Pamper Time With Nivea

With all that’s going on in the world right now it is important we give ourselves some time for ourselves. Some time to relax, restore, reflect and take a moment of calm. Obviously, there are so many ways you can achieve this, starting with doing something you enjoy, that’s just for you.

A pamper session is always my go to for me time, once the kids are in bed and the husbands fed I can escape for some tranquility, without disturbance. Who can relate? No one needs anything by this stage in the day and I can finally concentrate on myself for a short while.

I thought I would share a nice pamper routine with you using some gorgeous and very affordable Nivea products. A very well known household name world wide when it comes to affordable, supermarket/ drugstore beauty.

Step 1 – I would run a steaming hot bubble bath with my Moisture Relax Indulgent Bath Cream. A nourishing bath cream that creates a perfect bubble bath whilst also nourishing your skin and alerting your senses with its Hibiscus scent giving you a full sensual experience.

To make your bath even more relaxing you could add some candles, a glass of gin, some soft music or pick up a couple of chapters of your book. Fully immerse yourself into the calming moment. This is all about you.

Step 2 – Whilst in the bath it’s the perfect time to sheet mask. Sheet masks are such a wonderful pick me up. They are so inexpensive and give your skin a boost of vitality which always makes you feel good. Step 4 – Skincare. Skincare for me has become a huge part of my self-care as a daily AM, PM ritual. Some time I spend on myself every day for a few minutes even if I do not get to have a full on pampering and indulging experience. Really take a moment to take in the textures, the scents and the feeling of your skin while you apply your skincare to make it feel even more wonderful. I have picked out the AM & PM Hyaluron Cellular Anti- ageing creams. A moisturiser to be applied as the final step of your skincare routine after cleansing and serums have been applied.

The rich in texture AM moisturiser contains SPF30 to protect your skin from the ageing and harming UVA/UVB rays of the sun whilst also boosting the skins natural cell turnover to boost collagen production and help with the skins elasticity. Hyaluron also works to restore lost moisture leaving the skin plump, happy and appearing youthful.

Step 5 – The last and final step of an ultimate pamper is of course a manicure.
