No1 De Chanel collection – Lip and Cheek Balm

Who doesn’t love a Chanel collection drop when you love luxury beauty?

Chanel recently launched their No1 collection. A mixture of makeup products, skincare and even a fragrance mist which are all holistic and environmentally friendly. The first sustainable collection of its kind from this luxury fashion house.

The No1 de Chanel collection has been built around the classy colours of red, black and white with the anti ageing ingredient Red Camelia extract to revitalise your skin, giving you drops of youth in each product.

I was excited to try this brand and naturally purchased a couple of products. One of my purchases included the Lip and Cheek Balm which comes in 6 beautiful shades to compliment all skin tones.

The shades –

Red Camellia – A true Red

Healthy Pink – A light dusky pink

Vital Beige – A deep nude

Wake up Pink – A bright fun coral/pink

Lively Rosewood – A deep rose pink

Berry Boost – A berry red

I went with Lively Rosewood and I was not disappointed. The colour applies sheer and glossy and blends beautifully on the cheek. I applied with my fingers and blended with a foundation brush. It at first appears sticky but it doesn’t finish like this once it has melted and blended. For a barely there lip tint apply to the lips with your fingers to melt the product onto your lips like a balm of build the colour up by applying with a brush. I am really loving this and am fighting my inner FOMO from purchasing the rest of the colours.  

The packaging is a glass pot with matte black screw on lid with the famous Chanel logo in gloss on the top. Oh so classy and I expected nothing less.
