My Favourite Nude Eyeshadow Palettes

Eyeshadow palettes are a must have for any beauty junkie. Although I rarely wear eyeshadow, when I do, I have my favourite go to palettes and I definitely have a colour preference. For me it’s all about the nude/ neutrals. I like a nude with a sparkle inner corner and a darker smoked outer corner. That’s my signature look and anything else is very daring for me. So when I shop for palettes I look for palettes where the colours are usable together with looks that can be simple, easy and day to night. I am not the best at blending shows so I don't like to have to think about what I am doing too much. everything needs to be available in the one palette I am using. I don't like to mix and match.

So, for this blog edition I thought I would share with you my fave neutral palettes. Palettes that have all of my needs in one.

Pixi By Petra Natural Beauty – Firstly the buttery texture of the colours is so gorgeous and one of the best I have ever tried. Although I don’t want to list these palettes in any particular order, I can comfortably say that this is my favourite palette of all. The one I reach for the most! Perfect for every day and all of the colours blend together beautifully. The palette is a mixture of 12 matte, shimmer and metallic nudes which are easily worn blended or on their own.

Pixi By Petra Reflex Light – From the same range as the palette above this palette is made of 12 slightly more golden and bronze shades. Again, though so easy to wear alone or together. The two palettes together mix well too. Made of the same buttery formula it’s just a beauty.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam – ABH palettes are iconic within the makeup junkie’s community. Each one has a theme. This particular palette is made of glammed up nude colours with pink and orange undertones. With this palette you can take your look from day to night with a touch of one of five shimmer/ metallic shades. The palette has 14 colours altogether and comes in a sleek pan case with mirror which is easily transportable. My only bug bear with this which may cause problems for eyeshadow beginners is that the colours are quite crumbly and cause a lot of fall out. To overcome this, I would advise you either place a tissue under your eye while you blend or do your eyes before your base. This will stop the powder from sticking to your foundation. However, the colours are worth it!

Tarte Tartelette Toasted – I don’t own anything else from Tarte other than their famous concealer (which I am not a fan of). This though is absolutely bloody gorgeous and whenever I wear this palette, I get compliments. So firstly, the packaging is exquisite gold and tortoise shell which is just beaut. Then you open it up to 12 beautiful nudes with the most incredible toasted marshmallow scent. The colours are paired together in a way which makes you be able to see which will work together. There are 6 matte shades, 5 shimmer and one glitter. I just adore this palette and again can be used for day or night looks. From simple to ultra-glam.

RRP £38.00 available tartecosmetics.com

Bobbi Brown Bronze Edition Nude on Nude – This palette is so simple it would be perfect for beginners. The colours would suit absolutely all skin tones and types. The palette is made of 2 base colours (one matte and one shimmer) then 8 simple buildable nudes (4 metallic, 4 matte). All of the colours work together. I find the colours to be highly pigmented so the colours swatch as you see them. The colours are subtle so perfect for day wear and easy to wear alone of blended together.

Unfortunately this palette is limited edition and no longer available to purchase.

That’s it from me and my nude palettes.

Let me know if there are any palettes that you would like to see an IGTV demo on over on the Gram.
