I know we are nearly end of June, a little late to the party here but fashionably late is cool I say! Lol!

May, was a funny old month and to be fair I was utterly miserable with the dull dark days and constant rain. I mean, the weather needed to bore off already to be fair, so I lacked inspiration, but there were a few products that I found myself reaching for a lot and most bar one (of which will be obvious in a minute) I am still continuously using through June.

So here goes the 5 products that became my May 2021 Beauty Favourites.

L’Occitane Huile De Douche *

The most beautiful almond oil shower oil that emulsifies to milk and leaves your skin smelling beautifully like almonds. It also comes in refillable pouches to saving you money and saving the planet when you replenish your bottle.

If you like a shower indulgence then I 100% recommend this. Its one of my fave lines from the brand and paired with their almond milk body cream it’s a body duo from heaven!

Khali Min Clean Cream *

A beautiful leave in conditioner from a luxury Egyptian inspired indie beauty brand.

I had quite a big chop recently which bought my hair to better health so I have been making a conscious effort to look after it. This leave in conditioner naturally repairs and strengthens the hair with its plant derived formula of rose hip oil, aloe, murumuru butter and broccoli seed oil fight against dryness which causes breakage. Keeping the hair soft and silky. It truly does everything it says. My hair looks and feels amazing and I only need a pea size amount!

Eyeko Tinted Gel Brow Booster *

I am quite blessed with dark, full eyebrows so they need little maintenance. Just as well because I am rubbish at drawing on eye brows, I end up looking like a cartoon character. I get mine laminated then each morning I comb into place with a clean mascara wand and then set with this gel. It holds them in place, gives a little colour and leaves them looking natural. I love it. I haven’t picked up another brow product since I got this so I think it is here to stay forever! Not many products get Holy Grail status with me so that means its good!

Tan Luxe The Face

May was so utterly miserable it left me looking so non summery and extremely pasty. To pick me up and add colour to my cheeks I used these gorgeous tanning drops every other night in my moisturiser so I woke up with a sun kissed glow. They really are one of the best tanning drops I have tried and I really recommend. I am obviously not using now I have a bit of a tan but I do have the darker drops as well as the lighter ones if I wanted to go a little deeper.

Just a little plus from me they are fool proof, you will not wake up with a patchy face just make sure you wash you hands after and don’t get your face wet. This is why I use at night time.

Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder

Bobbi Brown is such a classic brand that I have loved for years. I fancied a new bronzer because I have a small addiction (shhh!) and I only had matte ones so thought I would try something new.

I went with shade Bali Brown hoping that the sun was going to come out soon and I could pretend I had a Bali golden tan. This shade I tell you is absolutely bloody beautiful! More than I even imagined. It has a slight golden sparkle that isn’t too shimmery just enough to give a golden glow. The shade is perfect for my mid skin tone and would still work when I am paler in the winter months as its not too deep. I really love it and have ben reaching for it a lot.
