March 2021 Beauty Favourites

*This blog post contains press samples.

Happy April to you all. Lets hope April brings more happiness and normality to us all as we move slowly out of lockdown restrictions here in the UK and as the weather warms up so we can enjoy the beautiful colours of spring as we venture more outdoors.

This is a little new something I have never done before but I thought each month from now I would show you 5 products that grabbed my attention during that month. So here is my first installment my March 2021 beauty favourites. In no particular order!

Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Cream

A super hydrating moisturiser with ceramides to lock moisture into the skin and to protect your skin barrier from environmental damage (or over exfoliation huh hmmm!). Both of these benefits also have anti ageing results keeping the skin looking plump and minimizing signs of fine lines and wrinkles.

This is honestly an absolute dream to use and suitable for all skin types. Feels like a soothing comfort blanket with the most gorgeous marzipan scent.

RRP £60.00 available from – John Bell & Croyden, Space NK, Cult Beauty & John Lewis.

She Wolf Tsubaki Smoothing Hair Oil

Not often I take the time to review a hair product so it has to wow me! I absolutely love Shewolf Hair care a small Indie hair care brand born here in the UK. I am mainly drawn in by their products strong fragrances made by an in house perfumer. The scents are so lasting on your hair. Though this particular product of theirs doesn’t just have a beautiful scent it leaves my hair so shiny, soft and tangle free.

Tsubaki oil originates from Japan and is used to de-frizz and smooth even the most frizziest and dull of head of hair, this can transform them into silky locks.

I like to apply the smallest amount either before I use heated tongs/straighteners or after a blow dry for a sleek and shiny finish that leaves your hair smelling like you have spritzed an expensive perfume. The scent grabs you with every swish of your tresses. So gorgeous!

You really need the smallest amount so this will would last you absolutely ages and it is super affordable to. Suitable for medium to course hair.

RRP £16.50 100ml available at shewolfhair.com

Skinny Tan Coconut Water Tanning Drops

A hydrating serum with self tan that you add to your moisturiser for a glow up. I am super impressed with these! Not only does it look pretty and smell pretty (coconut scent my fave!) but it also left my skin the most prettiest natural tan colour to. I felt able to go bare faced with this and felt confident with my new and heathier skin colour like I had been walking in the sunshine. The colour is buildable to.

I felt like after using for 2 consecutive nights the colour was deep and natural enough for me and it lasted all week.

Such an affordable and easy and fool proof way to self tan without any David Dickenson style distaters.

RRP £14.99 30ml available at SkinnyTan.co.uk

Erborian BB Crème – Nude

Erborain are a beauty brand that specialise in Korean formulas, which is popular in the beauty community. This is a 5 in one BB cream that –

1. Evens and mattifys the skin.

2. Reduces the appearance of blemishes.

3. Evens skin texture.

4. Moisturises the skin to give a plumped appearance (minimising fine lines and wrinkles).

5. Leaves an even velvety finish, which is not oily.

As an oily skin type I have found this so brilliant. The light coverage that I love with that mattifying effect leaving my skin looking its best on non makeup days. Also buildable for a makeup base too. All the makeup properties with skincare benefits, it even has a built in sun protection of SPF20. Amazing!

RRP £38.00 45ml also available in 15ml for £16.00

Available at Erborian.com, SpaceNK and Feelunique

ESPA Bio-Retiol Sleeping Serum

I really love a beauty product that gives me a spa like sensual experience when I use it. I love look, feel and scent and when they are all combined it takes me into a small moment of serenity. This product gave me exactly that. It is utterly stunning and if you like a home spa brand I highly recommend ESPA.

As well as giving me all the spa feels in my evening routine this product is also an amazing skincare product for its results to. This serum works overnight to tackle fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone, so you awake with a brighter and more refined appearance and it really does work. I absolutely am adoring this serum.

RRP £84.00 available at ESPA.com

That’s it for this month. I will be back with my top 5 next month.

Kisses
