John Bell & Croyden - Plenaire

John Bell & Croyden were established in 1798 and have been pharmacist to our Marge (Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II) since 1958 holding the Royal Warrant. Not many of us can proudly say we serve the Queen!

As a brand John Bell & Croyden are passionate that we should put our health and wellbeing first so the branch in Wigmore Street have sourced wellbeing and beauty products from brands across the globe, making them accessible to the UK Market. Some of the brands you might find include Bioderma, Avene, L’Oocitaine, La Roche Posay, Dermalogica, Klorane, Vichy, Dr Hauschka, Zelens, Ren and Neom. There are so many more brands you can discover there.

Recently they introduced Plenaire to their pharmacy and I was lucky enough to learn about the brand and even try their Rose Jelly Makeup Remover.

About Plenaire

Plenaire are a British born brand which translates to the French expression “in the open air” and was created with our emotional wellbeing at the forefront of the brands concept. Thinking about the way a modern women uses beauty products to carry out selfcare rituals and to make ones self, feel good on the inside and the outside.

Focusing on modern life styes of digital exposure, pollution and stress the brand created a capsule collection of eight products to appeal to all skin types. The products all have a clean look in mono theme with clear formulas. The products are 100% ingredient transparent, cruelty fee and vegan friendly. Taking into consideration sustainability all packaging is recyclable and little water is needed to use any of these products.

Plenaire Rose Jelly Gentle Makeup Remover

I was lucky to be given the chance to try this product from the brand and I have to say it is really lovely. A gentle and fuss free gel to milk cleanser. The texture is almost like a really thick oil that melts makeup, dirt and debris away when it touches the skin and emulsifies to a rose coloured milk with just the tiniest amount of water. It was so gentle and soothing I was able to use to remove my eye makeup too with no irritation.

It has a really light sweet rose scent and leaves the face clean and fresh with no stripping or drying.

Key ingredients – Glycerin & Rosa Damascena Flower Water

RRP £30.00 100ml would definitely love to try more from this brand.

Thank you for reading.
