Dermalogica Awaken Eye Peptide Gel

New to the Dermalogica family is the Awaken Eye Peptide Gel. A light fragrance free gel formula that brightens and awakens the delicate area around the eyes.

Personally I much prefer gels or serums for my eyes and creams irritate me so this caused much excitement for me to test.

The product boats the ability to awaken the delicate skin around your eye area in just 10 minutes making the eyes appear well rested.

Key ingredients in the product include –

Caffeine – Energising and awakening (like drinking a cup of coffee)

Rosemary Leaf – Soothing and a fab antioxidant.

Bioengineered Succinic Acid – Gives a radiant appearance.

Peptide blend – Firms and smooths.

Voandzeia Subterranea Seed – Leaves a luminous appearance and smooths the skin.

Jojoba Ester – Hydration.

The Dermalogica Awaken Eye Peptide Gel is designed to :-

• Visibly firm and smooth the skin texture.

• Minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

• Reduce the appearance of puffiness around the eye area.

Like with all products the only way to get results is to be consistent and I find that taking a before and after photo helps you to actually see how far your skin has come and if the product is really working for you.

So I tested this product for 4 weeks. Using just in my morning routine and no eye creams at night. I used a rice grain amount for each eye and dabbed onto the skin with my ring ringer ever so gently.

Here are my results.

As you can see from the before and after shots the skin around my eyes is :-

• Smoother and the lines I did have are almost non existent.

• Brighter, a lot brighter. Can you see how red the skin around my eyes was and now it looks luminous and bright.

• I have no puffiness but to be fair this is not something I really suffer with but there is a slight reduction there.

Overall, I am incredibly happy. I have continued to use this eye cream in the AM since I took my after shots a few days ago and am happy with it. No irritation and a dream to apply with its gel to water texture. So refreshing and definitely a fab AM eye product. I also recommend if you have time to massage in the product with ice globes. Not only is this fun, it also releases tension and cools and refreshes.
